We're sailing!

We're finally ready and leaving Poole harbour at the start of our travels. We're both looking forward to some sailing after many weeks of hard work getting Vencedor ready. Thanks to everyone who has helped us get on the water.

Renovating our boat has taken us much longer than expected! However we're nearly finished, all the windows and hatches are refitted and we will be heading off on our travels from Poole by the end of August. Luckily the summer this year has been warm and mostly dry, the swallows seem to enjoy perching on the front of our boat. We'll soon be heading south towards Spain, Portugal and onto the Canary Islands for the winter.
